Silver Palace Red Rose Kit Reveal: Ignis Rose Petals Build

Red Rose's official character title page confirmed her as a Dancer with an unrevealed element, calling most of her kit fan speculation. A preview build closed that gap: her Character Identity screen and full skill tree became visible, and she's playable, not the non-playable NPC/boss she was once assumed to be. CB2 data has since renamed one ability and reshuffled which ability carries which team buff, and this breakdown now reflects the CB2 version.

What changed since the preview build

Two things worth knowing if you read the earlier reporting on this kit:

  • The Basic Attack is now called Akimbo Overture. The preview build named it "Prelude by Fire".
  • The kit now distinguishes Rose Petals, the resource bar, from Rose Blooms, the flowers she leaves on the ground that explode. The preview build used "Rose Petals" for both.
  • The team buffs swapped abilities. War of the Roses now buffs the team's CRIT DMG, and the Onstage Preparation passive now buffs the team's Ignis DMG. The preview build had these the other way around.

Element, Combat Style, and identity

Red Rose is an Ignis (Fire) character with a confirmed Combat Support Combat Style and Saviour identity. Combat Support is Silver Palace's buffing-ally role, and her kit backs that up: multiple abilities buff team Ignis DMG or CRIT DMG on top of her own damage. The preview build's Character Identity screen lists her as "Red Rose (Dancer)" with base Lv.1 stats of 924 HP / 79 ATK / 20 DEF, 5% CRIT Rate, and 50% CRIT DMG.

Who Red Rose is

Master of the Midsummer Night's Ballroom, a dancer who never stops, a hunter, and an assassin. Her official title page frames her as "The Rose as an Engine of War," a crimson rose that flourishes in blood-soaked soil, brilliance shining through a thorny exterior. That duality carries straight into her gameplay: every offensive tool she has doubles as a resource generator for her Rose Petals mechanic.

Rose Petals and Rose Blooms

Red Rose's entire kit runs on two linked pieces. Rose Petals are the resource she generates through her basic attacks, skill, and tactical assault. Rose Blooms are the flowers her skill and ultimate leave on the ground, and those are what explode for Ignis DMG and trigger her passive. Popping Blooms rather than ignoring them is the core of piloting her, since every detonation feeds the team buff. The preview build described a roughly 5-second fuse that an Ignis attack could set off early; CB2 data does not restate the timing, so treat the exact fuse as unconfirmed.

Skill-by-skill breakdown

Akimbo Overture (Basic Attack)

A 5-hit combo dealing Ignis DMG, where the 3rd and 5th hits grant Rose Petals. Triggering a Perfect Dodge lets her immediately unleash a Lv.2 Charged Attack that interrupts enemies. The Charged Attack itself scales: Lv.1 is a flurry of heavy hits, Lv.2 is a spinning heavy attack that also grants Rose Petals. A Pursuit Attack is available after dodging or during a dash. The preview build listed 1 and 2 petals for the 3rd and 5th hits and called this ability "Prelude by Fire".

War of the Roses (Skill)

At a full Rose Petal bar, the Skill button consumes all of it for a flurry of Ignis attacks and grants Bright Rhythm. During Bright Rhythm, holding Basic Attack unleashes a powerful attack that deals Ignis DMG, spawns Rose Blooms, and buffs the entire team's CRIT DMG, immediately ending Bright Rhythm when used. The preview build showed a 6-petal bar and an 8-second Bright Rhythm window; exact durations are still worth rechecking at launch.

Grand Finale (Ultimate)

At full charge, Red Rose's dance builds into a crescendo, sending out a circle of thorns around her for massive Ignis DMG. Once the thorns disappear, Rose Blooms sprout from the ground, giving her a refill to chain straight back into War of the Roses.

Epic Debut (Tactical Assault)

Switching Red Rose in with sufficient Reactor Energy has her swing in on a vine while continuously firing, dealing Ignis DMG and granting Rose Petals, a strong burst of resource generation even from an off-field switch-in.

Onstage Preparation (Passive)

Whenever Rose Blooms explode, the entire team deals increased Ignis DMG. The buff stacks, and her Psyche "A Prelude in Scarlet" raises the passive's maximum stack count by 8. Combined with War of the Roses' team CRIT DMG buff, this makes Red Rose a genuine team-wide amplifier on top of her own damage.

Psyches

Her Psyche line leans hard into the Bloom-detonation loop. "Sanguine Mark" doubles Rose Bloom Ignis DMG and drops a Bloom on a Perfect Dodge. "Love's Affliction" doubles the Rose Petals she gains from her 3rd and 5th basic attack hits and from her skills, and boosts her enhanced consecutive shots during Bright Rhythm. "Death's Malediction" adds a 63% team CRIT DMG buff for 40s after her skill, and "Floral Shadow" has the team ignore 20% of enemy DEF for 40s after her ultimate. "A Blooming Finale" leaves 3 extra Blooms during Bright Rhythm and has all her attacks ignore 50% of the target's DEF.

Build and team direction

Everything about Red Rose's kit rewards deliberately popping Rose Blooms rather than letting them sit: each detonation feeds Onstage Preparation's team Ignis DMG stacks, and cycling War of the Roses into Grand Finale and back keeps the team CRIT DMG buff close to permanent uptime in a well-piloted rotation. That makes her a strong buffing centerpiece for an Ignis team, pairing naturally with other Fire damage dealers like Cinderella. For how Combat Support compares to Silver Palace's other Combat Styles, see the Combat Style guide.

Until exact multipliers and Rose Bloom detonation numbers are confirmed, treat Red Rose as an Ignis buff-and-burst Combat Support built around Bloom uptime rather than a pure damage carry.

FAQ

What element is Red Rose in Silver Palace?

Ignis (Fire). Her entire kit, Basic Attack through Ultimate, deals Ignis DMG and revolves around detonating Rose Blooms for more of it.

What is Red Rose's Combat Style?

Combat Support, Silver Palace's ally-buffing role. Her Skill and Passive both buff the whole team's damage output.

Is Red Rose a playable character?

Yes. Earlier data treated her as a non-playable NPC or boss, but a preview build's full Character Identity and skill tree screens confirm she has a complete playable kit.

What is the difference between Rose Petals and Rose Blooms?

Rose Petals are the resource bar she fills through nearly every ability and spends on War of the Roses. Rose Blooms are the flowers her skill and ultimate leave on the ground, which explode for Ignis DMG and trigger her team Ignis DMG passive.

What was Red Rose's Basic Attack called before?

"Prelude by Fire". CB2 data renamed it Akimbo Overture. The ability itself is unchanged: a 5-hit Ignis combo granting Rose Petals on the 3rd and 5th hits.

Is Red Rose's kit final?

No. This breakdown reflects CB2 data; skill multipliers, Rose Bloom damage numbers, buff percentages, and durations are still subject to change before official release.
