How the roster breaks down

Three systems describe every character, and none of them predicts the other two. Reactor Attribute is the damage a character deals and the resonance they build with teammates who share it, spread across 6 values: Fulmen 3, Glacies 3, Ignis 3, Alba 2, Gravitas 2, Radiatio 2. Nothing is rare enough to leave you without options, so attribute is rarely the thing that blocks a team.

Combat Style is the job a character does in a fight, and this is where the roster is lopsided: Combat Support 5, Break Suppressor 3, Striker DPS 3, Resonance DPS 2, Survival & Healing 2. That leaves 5 of the 15 on Combat Support, so you will have buffers long before you have a second carry. Build your first team around whichever damage dealer you actually pulled and fill the other three slots from the support bench, rather than waiting for a specific name. The Combat Styles and Identities guide covers what each style does in a fight.

Identity is the third, and the one most often mistaken for Combat Style. It decides which Motives a character can equip rather than how they fight, so a Hero and an Outlaw sharing a Combat Style still build differently. The split is Hero 4, Guardian 3, Saviour 3, Witness 3, Outlaw 2. Faction sits outside all three and is lore rather than kit: 10 of them across 15 characters, including The Raven's Claws, MISS and the River Constabulary. Who answers to whom is laid out in the factions and members guide.

Where to start

If you are new to the cast, the character title pages are the official art and epithet for each one, which is the fastest way to work out who you want to play before you read a single stat. The detective boardanswers the other question people arrive with, which is how these 15 are connected: every thread on it carries the reason those two cards are joined. For a straight ranking of who is worth pulling, the tier list places all 15 and shows the ability number behind each placement.

How to use this page

The five filter rows above stack, so rarity, faction, Reactor Attribute, Combat Style and Identity narrow the grid together rather than replacing each other. They also narrow the guides list below, which means you can filter to one attribute and read only the articles covering those characters. The eye on each card is that character's page views here since April 2026, ranked in full on the popularity board. Select any card for the full skill list, Psyches, break and level costs, best Implements and the team pairings that actually work.

Guides by character

Every article that covers a character, linked from one place. The filters above narrow this list too.
