"A few older noble relatives still have to call me their auntie! Detective, want to join them?" The rising crescent symbolizes the future of the Royal Families and the City. The much-loved scion of House Luna, an innocent young aristocrat and the Detective's landlady, Cynthia is a naughty prankster whose acts of mischief are mostly harmless. After all, noble acuity and insight flow naturally within her veins. Her bread kitty toys are her most loyal entourage, and any miscreants seeking to harm the scion shall face their most unforgiving acts of sanction. Shown in the Monotype closed beta as an Alba Witness support with crowd-control utility.
In the Dichotomy Beta story, Cynthia II is the Detective's landlady as well as a client. So highborn that even Superintendent Rex must bow to her, she is a sheltered girl who has never spoken to a commoner, chaperoned everywhere by her governess Moira. Her case begins as a search for three missing cats and turns darker: a framed werewolf family and the collapsing Crescent Guild of Baron Barton.
Over the night Cynthia learns that Moira's distrust of commoners and a werewolf girl's hatred of nobles are both wrong, and she chooses kindness, spending her month's allowance on werewolf stabilizers for the girl she rescues. It emerges that she owns the whole of Morgue Street through a trustee, and she waives the Detective's rent forever on one condition: that he always makes time to play with her.
