Pre-Launch Tier List

Rankings are based on Closed Beta Test (Monotype and Dichotomy) data and confirmed ability kits. Kit numbers are still beta-stage, so treat every placement as a working snapshot that is subject to change at launch.

This is the Silver Palace character tier list, our ranking of every revealed unit based on Closed Beta Test data, official character intro pages, and confirmed ability kits. Because the game has not launched, treat every placement as a working snapshot rather than a verdict. Kits, numbers, and rosters routinely shift between a closed beta and a live release, so this list is explicitly subject to change at launch.

The ranking sorts combat-ready characters into S, A, B, and C tiers. A separate Unrevealed row holds units whose Reactor Attribute and faction are confirmed but whose gameplay role or full kit has not been officially detailed, so we never rank them on speculation. If you are deciding who to chase, pair this list with our reroll guide for pull priority.

Quick Answer

The three S-tier units are the Detective (including the female build, Munin), Cinderella, and Rex, all confirmed five-star damage dealers with full ability kits. Red Rose and Argos anchor A tier as the strongest support options, Alf, Lorin, and Gratia fill B tier, and Firtho, Cynthia II, Bentham, Gucia, Captain Kaboom, and Grimm sit in C tier while their kits remain beta-stage.

If you are rerolling, the S-tier five-star DPS units are the priority targets, with Argos a strong and far more obtainable backbone for any team.

How We Rank Characters

Our tiers answer one question: how much does a character raise your odds across the content we have actually seen? S tier covers must-have units, A tier covers excellent additions, B tier covers good early-game options, and C tier covers situational or beta-stage picks. Rarity matters but does not decide placement on its own: an accessible four-star like Argos can outvalue a flashier pull because it is easier to build, while a unit with an unconfirmed kit stays low until we can judge it.

We weigh role coverage, ease of building, and confirmed kit strength, which is why we point you toward the combat guide, the resonance system, and the combat styles guide to understand the mechanics that move these rankings.

Reading The List

Use the filters above the board to narrow the roster by role, reactor attribute, faction, combat style, or rarity, or search by name. Every portrait links to that character's full profile, where you will find confirmed abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. For how attributes and roles interact, see the Combat Styles guide, and the Resonance guide for what sharing a Reactor Attribute actually buys a team.

Above all, team synergy and personal skill matter. Some lower-tier characters excel in specific compositions, and a unit you enjoy and invest in often outperforms one you ignore. Expect this list to be revised as new kits are revealed and balance settles at launch.
