Silver Palace Cynthia II Guide: Alba Support, Full Kit & Best Teams (2026)

Most players meet Cynthia II through the beta Crystal Exchange, where she was a redeemable reward rather than a banner pull. That is a useful signal: the developers wanted testers running a support, and Cynthia II is the one they handed out.

Quick read: Cynthia II is a 5★ Alba character from House Luna, known as Luna's Scion. Her narrative Identity is Witness and her Combat Style is Combat Support. The important thing about her, and the thing most early guides got wrong, is that her buffs are element-agnostic. She does not need to share your carry's element to be worth a slot.

Element and role

Cynthia II is Alba, whose Resonance Effect is Disintegration. Witness units are often assumed to be healers, but Cynthia II has no healing in her kit at all. She is a damage amplifier and a crowd-control unit: she raises the damage enemies take, buffs your team ATK and All-Attribute DMG, and drags packs of enemies into one place.

Because those buffs are percentage boosts to the whole team rather than Alba-specific bonuses, she slots into an Ignis team, a Fulmen team, or anything else. The only thing she does not do is add to another element's Resonance gauge, since Resonance is tracked per attribute.

Cynthia II full kit

Her whole rotation is built on one resource, Sweetness, and one debuff, Sweetness Overload.

  • Plushie Vassals (Basic Attack): a 3-hit Alba combo at 45% / 75% / 150% DMG. Holding the button is a rolling dash Charged Attack at 737.5% that also speeds up Sweetness buildup.
  • Sweet Slingshot (Skill): hold to consume Sweetness and throw a sweetie bomb. Level 1 hits a small area for 65.88%; level 2 hits a larger area for 290.88% and applies Sweetness Overload, which makes targets take +10% DMG for 40 seconds. Sweetness caps at 100 and builds at 6 per second.
  • Crescent Compassion (Ultimate): throws a crescent boomerang that spins on the field pulling enemies in for 184.62% Alba DMG. It keeps working after Cynthia leaves the field, which is the detail that makes her a genuine swap-in support.
  • Cakeball's Present (Tactical Assault): a switch-in hit for 348.04% Alba DMG.
  • Toast's Lament (Passive): Sir Toast the Knight takes a hit in her stead, once every 10 seconds.

Psyches worth knowing

Her Psyches are where the support numbers actually come from:

  • Rising Crescent: Sweetness Overload increases enemy DMG taken by a further 7.5%, taking the debuff to 17.5% total.
  • The Captured Moon: after her Ultimate, the whole team gets +20% ATK for 40 seconds.
  • Moon Freed From Mortal Dust: after her Tactical Assault, the whole team deals +15% All-Attribute DMG for 40 seconds.
  • To the Moonlit Court: +30% Ultimate Charge Efficiency, and after a higher-level Charged Skill her Ultimate lasts 8 seconds and continuously applies Sweetness Overload to everything it hits.
  • Moonbound Howl: during Charged Attacks she takes 50% less DMG, cannot be interrupted, and deals an extra 100% Alba DMG to Sweetness Overload targets while pulling nearby enemies together.
  • Lone Lunar Shadow: +50% Ultimate DMG.

Read those together and the rotation is obvious: Tactical Assault in for the All-Attribute buff, land a level 2 Sweet Slingshot for Sweetness Overload, Ultimate for the pull and the team ATK buff, then swap to your carry while the boomerang keeps spinning.

Best teams for Cynthia II

She works with any carry, so build around whoever you actually own:

  • Cinderella: the premier 5★ Ignis Striker DPS. Sweetness Overload plus the team ATK buff both scale her burst, and the Ultimate's pull groups targets for her.
  • Alf: 4★ Ignis with flamethrower AoE. Cynthia II's Ultimate pulls the pack into Alf's cone, which is one of the better low-investment pairings in the beta build.
  • Gucia: the other Alba unit. Pair them if you specifically want the Disintegration Resonance Effect, since two Alba bodies fill the Alba gauge instead of splitting damage across two attributes.

If you want an element core for Resonance, stack the carry's element and let Cynthia II be the fourth slot. Her buffs do not care.

How to build Cynthia II

For a Combat Support, the Motives framework flips the usual DPS priorities:

  • Main stats: Ultimate Charge Efficiency first, so the Ultimate and Tactical Assault buffs stay up as close to permanently as possible. Both last 40 seconds, so uptime is the whole game.
  • Then: Alba DMG bonus and ATK, which feed her Charged Attack and Ultimate damage.
  • Survivability: enough HP to survive the backline, helped by Toast's Lament and the Charged Attack damage reduction.

Potential Break materials

Cynthia II is Alba, so her Reactor Attribute material is Rectified Essence Concentrate. Taking her through every Potential Break shown on her character page costs 134,400 Ounce plus Rectified Essence Concentrate, Gold Mistletoe, and the wax boss line: Wax Droplet, Layered Wax Coating, Slender Wax Wick and Wax Infinitus. She shares that wax line with Gucia, Argos and Grimm, so those bosses serve several characters at once.

Tier outlook and pull priority

A 5★ support whose buffs work with every element ages unusually well. Element-locked supports fall out of favour when their attribute is out of meta; Cynthia II does not have that failure mode. Early tier lists treat her as a strong general investment.

Pull priority is the honest question. Because she is element-agnostic, she is a reasonable target regardless of which carry you land first, which is a better position than most supports. There is no confirmed banner schedule yet, so plan around the release details we actually have.

In the Story: Dichotomy Beta

Cynthia II is not only a Witness support but the Detective's landlady and client. So highborn that even Superintendent Rex bows to her, she is a sheltered girl whose missing-cat request unravels into a framed werewolf family and the collapsing guild of Baron Barton, chaperoned throughout by her governess Moira.

By the end she waives the Detective's rent forever, since she owns all of Morgue Street through a trustee, on the condition that he always makes time to play with her. Read the full quest in the Silver Palace story recap.

FAQ

What element and role is Cynthia II?

Cynthia II is a 5★ Alba Witness with a Combat Support Combat Style. She is a damage amplifier and crowd-control unit, not a healer and not a damage dealer. Earlier coverage listed her as Ignis, which was wrong.

Does Cynthia II heal?

No. Despite the Witness label, there is no healing anywhere in her kit. Her Passive has Sir Toast intercept one hit every 10 seconds, which is damage prevention rather than healing.

Is Cynthia II free in Silver Palace?

During the Monotype beta she was obtainable through the Crystal Exchange. That was a beta event, and there is no confirmation the same offer returns at the full launch.

Who does Cynthia II work best with?

Any carry. Sweetness Overload raises enemy DMG taken by 10%, or 17.5% with her Rising Crescent Psyche, and her Psyches add +20% team ATK and +15% All-Attribute DMG. None of that is element-locked, so she lifts Cinderella, Alf or anyone else equally.

Is Cynthia II worth pulling?

Yes for most accounts. An element-agnostic 5★ support fits whatever team you end up with, so she does not need a specific carry first the way an element-locked support would.
