Grimm (Journalist): Silver Palace Character Title Page
Grimm (Journalist): Silver-Tongued Headliner
Silver Palace has revealed the official character title page for Grimm, confirming his class as Journalist. His tagline reads: Silver-Tongued Headliner.

Who is Grimm?
"Undocumented truth is really flimsy. Direct confrontation is not my thing. I fight my battles elsewhere."
The title page's flavor text lays out his philosophy in full:
A young journalist born into the lower levels of society, he is an ambitious fellow with a mind just as sharp as his tongue.
A chronicler of modern society, never hesitating to risk danger when opportunity knocks.
Whether denouncing scandals or giving a voice to the sadly departed: he believes that the truth is all-powerful, and it must be heard.
What the title page tells us
The art shows Grimm in a wide-brimmed hat and a brown leather coat over a vest and tie, cargo shorts, tall socks, and boots, standing in front of a cluttered desk stacked with a typewriter, filing cabinets, case photos, and loose newspaper clippings. Faint blue thread-like lines run through the scene, echoing the clue-board visual language the game already uses for detective work. A badge above his name reads "SURVEILLANCE, TRACKING, AND TROUBLESHOOTING SERVICES (S.T.A.T.S.)," with "GRIMM," "JOURNALIST," and the tagline "Silver-Tongued Headliner" printed beneath it. The Silver Palace logo appears in the top right, and the piece is credited to Elementa.
That S.T.A.T.S. badge lines up with what's already documented in the site's factions and members guide, which lists Grimm as agency staff at S.T.A.T.S. (Surveillance, Tracking and Troubleshooting Services), the detective agency the story's main plot runs through.

A journalist tied to Silver Palace's opening mystery
Grimm's name surfaces early in the story, and not just as a living character. The CBT1 review covers Chapter I, "Burned to Cinders," which opens with the Case of Grimm's Death: a journalist named Grimm found seemingly burned to death in an alley, in a manner matching the Nameless Ashes.
The two connect directly. The death is staged: Grimm coats a substitute corpse in a fireproofing agent and fakes the burning to escape whoever wants him silenced, which is why his very-alive title-page portrait and the case that bears his name are the same person at different points in the story. It is led by the Raven's Beak and Raven's Claws detective duo.

In the Story: Dichotomy Beta
Grimm is a brash photojournalist who once trailed the Detective's cases and ghost-wrote reports that made them famous. Chasing a career-making story, he is soon found seemingly burned to death in an alley in a manner matching the Nameless Ashes.
The death is staged. Grimm coats a substitute corpse in a fireproofing agent, fakes the burning to escape whoever wants him silenced, and hides his notebook in the Detective's office, the evidence that renames the Nameless Ashes the "Cinderellas."
