Silver Palace has revealed the full character title page for Red Rose, the dancer of the Royalty and Aristocracy faction. She is listed under the Dancer class, and her tagline reads: The Rose as an Engine of War.

Who is Red Rose?

Master of the Midsummer Night's Ballroom, she is a dancer who never stops. A hunter, and an assassin.

A crimson rose that flourishes in blood-soaked soil, her brilliance shining through her thorny exterior. Yet wan moonlight and noxious mists pervade, enshrouding her, and scarring her very soul.

Though red by name, the hand given to her by fate is dark and cruel. Only in love or in death shall she be granted forgiveness.

What the title page tells us

The official art leans hard into Red Rose's dual nature. She wears a black-and-red ruffled dress with a corset bodice, elbow-length gloves, and strappy heels with ribbons trailing to the ground. Red roses fill the background, framed by an ornate gilded border with candles and bare branches. The Silver Palace logo sits in the upper right.

The title page confirms her faction as Royalty and Aristocracy and her class as Dancer. A later preview build's Character Identity screen filled in the rest: Red Rose is a 5-star Ignis unit with a Combat Support Combat Style and a Saviour identity, and her kit reveal breaks down the Rose Petals resource and the exploding Rose Blooms it pays for. Her quote and description suggest a character caught between glamour and violence, elegance and cruelty, a performer whose stage is a battlefield.

Red Rose in earlier footage

Red Rose first appeared in the Dichotomy Beta Test trailer, Black Knights' Tango, where she shared screen time with Rex, the Male Detective, and several new faces. In that trailer she was seen dancing in a candlelit ballroom before a fight sequence, reinforcing the Dancer class identity.

In the Story: Dichotomy Beta

The Red Rose is a flirtatious assassin tied to House Flora, whose members carry flower titles. Her signature motive, The Bloodbath Mystery, describes her from inside the house: Flora dresses its members by rank, white for children, pink for maidens, red for adulthood, with a hidden black echelon above red that stands for the house's sins. It closes by saying she has waited and prepared for that day her entire life. She first appears disguised as a clerk applying to be the Detective's assistant, then shadows the case, cutting alarms and finishing off assassins to keep him safe.
